FAQ

Coaching & case management questions

Who is care management and coaching for?

Anyone who needs more than an hour of therapy a week but is not ready for, or does not want, sober living. That includes someone leaving treatment who wants support without a house, a family that does not know what to do next, someone earlier in their relationship with substances who needs structure, and anyone who wants real support handled with discretion.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Therapy works on the why. Coaching and case management work on the day to day: routines, accountability, appointments, communication with family and clinicians, and the practical next step. Many clients do both, and we coordinate with their therapist.

How does monitoring for drugs and alcohol work?

Monitoring is built into each plan based on what the client and family agree to. We walk through the options on the first call.

Is coaching in person?

Plans are built around the client. We cover how and where sessions happen when we build the plan together.

Am I locked into a long-term contract?

We talk through the length and structure of each plan on the first call, and adjust it as things change.
